On 24th-27th, June there was the biggest dog event – World Dog Show 2010 in Herning, Denmark. It was a wonderful show, which was very well organized, there weren’t any big accidents. Everyone could see the show rings, different breeds etc.

In the show they were almost 20 000 dogs. Most of them from Denmark – 3866, Sweden – 2972, Norway – 2200,  from Lithuania – 46 participants.

We are really glad that there were 5 participants from our club.

A dog Bruno Nemunas, bred by Lithuanian breeders now lives in Finland did excellent in show (9 dogs in class)

As a part of World Dog Show 2010 Danish Kennel Club organized two speciality shows on 25th and 26th, June.

CHEER’S EVERGATE GARDEN – junior class, 06 25 – excellent, 06 26 – excellent, 3rd place in class;

LIQUIDO RIO KOMPANIJA – open class, 06 25 – excellent, 06 26 – very good;

KANGA GORSKA FANTAZJA – open class, 06 25 – excellent – 3rd place in class;

VICKY DONNA KOMPANIJA – junior class, both days – excellent;

METSAVIRNAN KENTUCKIAN LILY – working class, 06 25 – excellent, 2nd place in class, 06 26 – excellent, 3 rd place in class

Retrievers are inteligent dogs ant it is very easy to train them so they could help people with disabilities.
